Nagoya University of Commerce & Business (NUCB)
Nagoya University of Commerce and Business was founded in 1935 by Yuichi Kurimoto. Over the last 80 years, the university has become known worldwide as a premier educational institution. NUCB was the first undergraduate school in Japan, and part of only 5% of business schools worldwide to hold the prestigious AACSB accreditation. The school is located in Greater Nagoya, Japan’s third most populous city and home to the country’s greatest concentration of automobile, fine ceramics, aerospace, and other high-tech industries. Our beautiful Nisshin Nagakute campus which is 1.5 x the size of Tokyo Disneyland is home to over 3,000 students with approximately 10% of international students from over 35 nationalities, offering a diverse community full of global talent.

Held at the Nagoya Campus, the BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) is taught in Japanese via the Active Learning mode of instruction. Utilizing our vast experience from our MBA at the Graduate School of Management, we prepare students for practical education using real-life scenarios from case studies. We will develop those who can propose their own ideas to society through actual business field experience and acquire the practical skills that are really necessary for 21st-century business.

BSc in Economics
In the Faculty of Economics, we strive to improve your ability to analyze economic activities with a holistic perspective and equip you with the skills to understand important social issues and how to solve them given the complex world we live in. The Department of Policy Management focuses on the economic policy viewpoint whilst the Department of Economics looks at the market economy as a whole.
BSc in Commerce
The Bachelor of Commerce is designed to develop your business acumen for a thriving career in finance. We will provide you with financial literacy and analytical skills to succeed in accounting, financial management, banking, etc. Choose to major in Accounting or Marketing, with the option to take Marketing at our urban campus in downtown Nagoya using the 100% Active Learning method.
BA in International Studies
The Faculty of International Studies consists of two departments. The Global Studies Department and the English Studies Department. Students can enjoy our innovative curriculum and diverse campus full of global talent.
