Since its establishment in 1873, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) has been devoted to foreign studies, covering 15 areas and 76 languages. Among them, 28 are major languages which students can choose as their major field of study. Turkish, Arabic and Persian are among the 28.
International students of TUFS will be joined by classmates studying their home languages and regions, making it a true Global campus beyond English. International and Japanese students go beyond the classrooms to communicate and improve their language abilities, understand different perspectives, and most of all, enjoy their campus life.
Located in the quiet residential area in the western part of Tokyo, TUFS provides an excellent academic environment for international students.
