Nagoya University of Commerce and Business (NUCB)
Founded in 1935 by Dr. Yuichi Kurimoto, the first international graduate of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta, Nagoya University of Commerce and Business (NUCB) was established with a bold vision to bring international education to Japan.
Over the past nine decades, NUCB has grown into a dynamic educational group that includes Nagoya International Junior & Senior High School, NUCB International College (IB boarding school), two undergraduate campuses in Nagoya and Nisshin, and three Graduate School of Management campuses in Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo.
The NUCB Business School is the first and only Triple Crown Business School in Japan (AASCB, EQUIS, AMBA), situated in downtown Nagoya (with satellite campuses in Tokyo and Osaka). As such, it is among the elite few distinguished institutions that make up less than 1% of all schools worldwide.
NUCB is located in Greater Nagoya, Japan’s third most populous city and home to the country’s greatest concentration of automobile, fine ceramics, aerospace, and other high-tech industries. Known as the transportation hub of the country, making travel to other destinations fast and easy.

The Global BBA program offers a globally-focused, four-year curriculum. In the first two years, students build a strong foundation in core business areas such as economics, accounting, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. They also develop essential skills like critical thinking, business presentation, and research methods.
In Years 3 and 4, students can tailor their studies through a wide range of electives, including topics like digital marketing, platform strategy, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation, preparing them to thrive in a rapidly changing global business landscape.
The program develops both hard and soft skills, ensuring graduates are ready to lead, collaborate, and excel in diverse careers—whether in graduate school, startups, global corporations, or industries like consulting, finance, and sustainability.

Scholarship
The tuition for all 4-years of study at NUCB is 4,994,000 JPY (Includes 270,000 JPY Entrance Fee).
Tuition includes a brand new MacBook Air for non-scholarship recipients as well as your textbooks and club fees.
We support academically outstanding students with more than 20 kinds of scholarships. Those that are not selected for an admission scholarship are given a MacBook Air. It is possible to combine scholarships, for example Tuition Reduction, International Dormitory Rent Discount and JASSO Honors.
Japanese language education after enrollment (required or elective)
We offer an optional Japanese curriculum from beginner to advanced levels for all students. Our engaging lessons build practical skills and confidence, strengthening your language abilities to enrich daily life, deepen your cultural experience, or support your career goals in Japan or beyond.
Dormitory
NUCB Undergraduate School has over 900 rooms available for students. The majority of the rooms are single occupancy, furnished with cooking facilities and a shower located in the room. Monthly rent for the private rooms ranges from 24,500 to 34,000 JPY and is within walking or cycling distance to school.
Student Support
NUCB Undergraduate School has a complete student support network to assist students’ university life. We have established a system for information disclosure, contact survey and improvement, health management, student consultation, etc. In addition, the procedures for issuing certificates of enrollment and transcripts are also posted.
